The CFO is a key member of the Executive Team who provides support in all financial aspects of the business. In addition, the CFO is expected to make significant contribution in the wider areas of administration and general management of the business.
What are you responsible for?
- Taxation-Corporation/PAYE (inc. USA operations)
- Treasury Management, including Debt, ForEx and Interest Rate Management
- Strategic Planning, supplying financial expertise and general management skills
- Forecast
- Budgets
- Investor Relations
- Bank Liaison
- Benchmarking and Performance measures
- Pensions/Payroll, managing an outsourced service
- Legal Affairs
- Risk Management (operational and financial)
- Facilities Management
- Human Resources
- Purchasing
- Health and Safety
- Member of the Environmental, Social and Governance (ESG) Steering Committee whose purpose is to stay aware of ESG matters that are relevant to the business and to advise and guide the business ensuring we remain compliant where required and enhance our social contribution
- Adherence to the Company’s Quality Management System to ensure that all work is handled Securely, Professionally and Diligently
Skills, Knowledge, Experience
- Experience of working in a SaaS environment, preferably in Life Sciences
- Exposure to working within a Private Equity company is preferred
- Recognised accounting qualification
- Excellent organisation/communication/planning skills
- Leadership/motivational skills
- Effective delegation/prioritisation skills
- Awareness of current affairs
- Knowledge of office procedures and computer packages
- Human Resource experience
- Knowledge of our Quality Management System and its application to tasks associated with this role.
