One of our clients is seeking a highly strategic and experienced Chief Financial Officer (CFO) to lead our financial operations and provide critical financial guidance to the executive team and board of directors. The CFO will be responsible for the overall financial health of the organization, ensuring sound financial management, strategic planning, and compliance with all regulatory requirements. This role requires a visionary leader with a strong understanding of financial markets, risk management, and growth strategies.
- Develop and execute the company's financial strategy, aligning with overall business objectives and long-term growth plans.
- Oversee all financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, and reporting activities, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and compliance with GAAP/IFRS.
- Manage cash flow, working capital, and capital expenditure planning to optimize liquidity and investment opportunities.
- Lead and mentor the finance and accounting teams, fostering a culture of high performance, accountability, and continuous improvement.
- Establish and maintain robust internal controls and financial policies to safeguard company assets and ensure regulatory compliance.
- Manage investor relations, including preparing financial presentations, communicating financial performance, and supporting fundraising initiatives.
- Conduct comprehensive financial analysis, provide strategic insights, and make recommendations to the CEO and executive team on business performance, potential investments, and operational efficiency.
- Identify, assess, and mitigate financial risks, including market risk, credit risk, and operational risk.
- Oversee tax planning and compliance, ensuring adherence to all local, national, and international tax regulations.
- Lead due diligence for potential mergers, acquisitions, and divestitures, and integrate acquired entities into the company's financial structure.
- Act as a key liaison with external auditors, banks, legal counsel, and other financial stakeholders.
