Job Title : Chief Revenue Officer (CRO) - Healthcare
Location: Orlando, FL (Hybrid – 3 days onsite)

Position Overview
The CRO will lead the company’s entire revenue cycle function across a national network of behavioral health and opioid treatment clinics. This role focuses on maximizing reimbursement, improving collections, strengthening payer relationships, and ensuring full regulatory compliance.
This is not a sales or admissions growth role — it is focused on revenue realization, reimbursement strategy, and operational excellence.
Key Responsibilities:
Revenue Strategy & Performance
- Develop and execute enterprise-wide revenue cycle strategy.
- Optimize payer mix across Medicaid, Medicare, Commercial, and Private Pay.
- Improve AR days, DSO, denial rates, and cash collections.
- Support revenue infrastructure for new clinic launches and acquisitions.
Revenue Cycle Leadership
- Oversee billing, coding, collections, denial management, credentialing, and contracting.
- Lead a 60-member revenue team.
- Implement scalable systems, dashboards, and operational controls.
Payer Contracting & Reimbursement
- Lead contract negotiations, renewals, and rate improvements.
- Manage OTP/MAT-specific billing (e.g., methadone, bundled services).
- Explore value-based reimbursement opportunities.
Compliance & Risk Management
- Ensure compliance with CMS, Medicaid, DEA, SAMHSA, Joint Commission, and related regulations.
- Reduce audit risk, clawbacks, and reimbursement exposure.
- Maintain strong internal revenue controls.
Data & Leadership
- Establish KPIs and forecasting models.
- Use analytics to improve revenue performance.
- Partner closely with CFO, compliance, clinical, and operations teams.
Required Experience
- 10+ years leading healthcare revenue cycle operations.
- Direct experience in behavioral health or opioid treatment programs.
- Deep knowledge of Medicaid, Medicare, and managed care reimbursement.
- Multi-site healthcare leadership experience.
