What you need to succeed:
- Bachelor’s degree in business, economics, statistics, mathematics, or equivalent experience
- Minimum of 2 years of digital media experience (preferably in inventory and operations)
- Able to be a leader in a large organization and a business advisor to various teams
- Expert in Microsoft Office (specifically Excel modeling) and data visualization tools; proficiency in querying (SQL) a plus
- Comfortable with large datasets and familiar with digital inventory trends
- Quantitative-thinker; comfortable dealing with large and/or incomplete data sets
- Strong communication, organization, and presentation skills.
- Collaborative workstyle and is a team player
- Superior problem-solving skills with the ability to challenge status-quo and think BIG!
- Ability to work in a fast-changing work environment
What is the Role:
As a Digital Revenue Operations Analyst, you will be an integral part of the Revenue Strategy team. Working with and under the direction of the Director, Revenue Strategy, you will primarily be responsible for ensuring we’re maximizing our revenue within our digital video inventory by digging through data and developing reports and dashboards, refining the planning process, identifying and improving areas of opportunity, and creating new ad products. You will be working closely with many different teams including Ad Operations, Revenue, Sales, Content, Marketing, Tech, and Data, along with having exposure to the C-Suite leadership team.
Key duties will include:
- Maintain daily reporting for internal stakeholders
- Develop dashboards and best practices to improve workflow and efficiency
- Effectively communicates daily trends that impact revenue to executive team and other internal stakeholders
- Own the product catalog to ensure our Order Management System and Ad Server are configured properly
- Work proactively with sales, ad operations and third parties to optimize revenue
- Provide insights to audience development on sales needs
- Provide insights to content operations on what is trending for monetization
- Partner with sales team on pricing & strategy
- Collaborate with ad operations, revenue, content, and tech to limit waste across inventory
- Support internal stakeholders on A/B testing results
- Work with finance on month end close
