About the Client
The client is a mission-driven entrepreneurial ecommerce organization focused on health and wellness, with an organically-grown customer base centered around people with Ehlers-Danlos syndrome and hypermobility. We are poised for significant growth, particularly in reaching desk workers seeking comfortable and healthy sitting solutions. We are currently exploring a shift toward a worker-owned cooperative model.

- Business Development: Drive the development of the business's potential, focusing on new market opportunities, including:
- Marketing efforts targeting desk workers.
- Exploring new applications, such as in psychotherapy.
- Developing a plan for new products and accessories.
- Team Integration & Management: Work closely with the founder for initial handover and integrate with the existing team, providing clear direction and accountability to ensure tasks are completed effectively (comfortable with "nudging others").
- Organizational Strategy: Lead the development of a plan for organizational transformation, including the shift toward a worker-owned cooperative model.
- Tech Stack Familiarity: Shopify, Asana and Wise.
Need to Have Qualifications & Experience
- Proven experience in Operations Management or a similar business management role.

- Experience in health/wellness, consumer product, e-commerce.
- A demonstrated ability to drive initiatives, improve processes, and manage a team to "get stuff done."
- Strong entrepreneurial spirit with a focus on executing a business vision.
