CPQ Modeler

We are seeking a highly detail-oriented CPQ Modeler with strong knowledge of chassis specifications to support our sales, engineering, and operations teams. This role is responsible for configuration modeling of bid specifications and CPQ rules to ensure accurate work order preparation, technical review, feature clarification, and customer/dealer order processing support.
The ideal candidate brings strong technical aptitude, a customer-service mindset, and the ability to translate complex specifications into accurate, executable configurations.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop, maintain, and update CPQ configuration models and rules to support bid specifications and production accuracy
- Translate chassis specifications into structured CPQ rules and product configurations
- Support work order preparation by ensuring technical completeness and accuracy
- Conduct technical reviews to validate feature selections and resolve configuration conflicts
- Provide feature and option clarification to internal teams, customers, and dealers
- Support customer and dealer order processing with accurate configuration guidance
- Maintain and submit new contract and CO-OP opportunities
- Partner cross-functionally with Sales, Engineering, Purchasing, and Operations to ensure model accuracy and production readiness
- Continuously improving CPQ rule structure to enhance efficiency and reduce errors
Qualifications
- Strong working knowledge of chassis specifications (required)
- Experience with CPQ configuration modeling and rule development
- High attention to detail with strong analytical skills
- Technical aptitude with the ability to interpret engineering documentation and product specifications
- Customer-focused mindset with strong communication skills
- Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- Proficiency in ERP/CPQ systems and Microsoft Office Suite
Preferred Experience
- Manufacturing or vehicle/chassis-based industry experience
- Experience supporting dealer networks or contract bid environments
- Familiarity with work order processes and production documentation
