Drive & Shine is profitable, multi-location leader in the car care industry, operating large-format car wash, oil change, and interior cleaning facilities across Indiana and Michigan.
With our financial stability and aggressive expansion plans, we are seeking a strategic Chief Financial Officer to help lead our next phase of growth.
Position Overview
The CFO will serve as a key member of the executive leadership team, reporting directly to the CEO. This individual will own financial strategy, capital planning, banking relationships, forecasting, and long-term financial modeling. The Controller and accounting team report to this role.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain Companies’ Finances, including financial planning, management of financial risks, record-keeping, and financial reporting
- Develop quarterly, annual and five-year forecasts and budgets and track performance to forecast- reporting information to our leaders to help keep us on course
- Report and track KPI’s to help drive our corporate objectives
- Develop long-term financial strategy/budgeting/forecasting aligned with expansion plans
- Locate and implement best practices across the chain
- Lead financial modeling for new site development ($10–15MM builds)
- Manage banking relationships and negotiating financing
- Oversee budgeting, forecasting, and 5-year projections
- Monitor & negotiate pricing, labor efficiency, and site-level performance
- Lead audit process and financial institution reporting
- Structure compensation and performance models
- Develop and lead finance team
Qualifications
- CPA required
- MBA preferred
- 10+ years progressive finance leadership experience
- Experience in multi-unit retail, restaurant, automotive, or service industries preferred
- Strong lender negotiation and capital structure experience
- Financial modeling expertise
- Experience scaling a growing organization
