Schedule: Onsite | Monday–Friday | 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
Salary: $150,000–$185,000 annually (based on experience)
We are seeking an experienced Chief Financial Officer (CFO) to join a growing organization in Niles, MI. The Chief Financial Officer (CFO) will serve as a key member of the executive leadership team and oversee all financial operations, compliance, reporting, and strategic planning.
This Chief Financial Officer (CFO) role requires a leader who can operate at both a strategic and operational level. The ideal candidate will drive financial performance, maintain strong internal controls, and provide executive-level insight to support organizational growth.
Lead financial strategy, annual budgeting, and long-term forecasting
Oversee accounting operations, general ledger, and month-end/year-end close
Manage cash flow, banking relationships, and capital planning
Ensure GAAP compliance and maintain strong internal controls
Coordinate annual audits and oversee tax and regulatory reporting
Present financial reporting and analysis to executive leadership and/or Board of Directors
Develop and mentor accounting and finance team members
Identify opportunities for process improvement and operational efficiency
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance (CPA or MBA preferred)
8+ years of progressive financial leadership experience
Prior experience as a Controller, Director of Finance, or Chief Financial Officer (CFO)
Strong expertise in budgeting, forecasting, and cash management
Experience with ERP systems and advanced Excel skills
Proven leadership and team development capabilities
