We are partnering with a highly regarded, privately owned investment management business to appoint a Chief Financial Officer. This is a confidential search for a senior finance leader to play a pivotal role in shaping the next phase of growth.
This is a broad and commercially focused CFO position, offering the opportunity to work closely with the CEO and leadership team on strategy, investment decision-making, and business expansion, while also overseeing day-to-day finance operations.
The Opportunity
As CFO, you will take ownership of the finance function end-to-end, leading a team of six and driving both operational excellence and strategic initiatives. You will be instrumental in building scalable processes, enhancing reporting capabilities, and supporting the business through its growth trajectory.
Key Responsibilities
- Partner with the CEO and executive team on business strategy, growth initiatives, and investment decisions
- Lead and develop a high-performing finance team (6 direct reports)
- Oversee financial control, reporting, compliance, and governance
- Drive process improvements, systems enhancements, and operational efficiencies
- Support capital management, funding, and investor reporting requirements
- Play a key role in shaping the commercial and strategic direction of the business
About You
We are seeking a commercially minded finance leader with a strong technical foundation and proven leadership capability. Ideal backgrounds include:
- Real estate / property funds
- Family office environments
- Chartered / Big 4 background with progression into senior leadership
You will bring:
- Proven experience operating at CFO or divisional CFO level
- Strong leadership and team management skills
- A strategic mindset with the ability to influence at executive level
- Hands-on capability with a willingness to be close to the detail when required
- Experience in growing or transforming businesses is highly desirable
