As a Junior GTM Engineer (all genders), you have a foundational role in heyData’s Go-to-Market organization. You sit at the intersection of Marketing, Sales, Account Management, and Revenue Operations, focusing on enabling these teams through systems, automation, data, and AI-driven workflows. This role is not a classic “operations” role. It is designed for someone who wants to
build how revenue teams work, not just maintain tools. In this role, you work closely with the RevOps & GTM Team Lead and gain direct exposure to GTM strategy, system design, and revenue decision-making.
Your Mission
Turn GTM strategy into scalable operational execution. You remove friction, automate manual work, improve data reliability, and help revenue teams operate with clarity and structure. Your work directly impacts revenue scalability, forecasting accuracy, and process quality across the entire funnel.
- GTM Systems & CRM Architecture: Own and continuously optimize HubSpot and the GTM tech stack by maintaining scalable pipeline architecture, clean property structures, stable integrations, and automation logic that ensures reliable and frictionless revenue execution.
- Revenue Process Design & Execution: Translate GTM strategy into structured CRM workflows by designing and implementing clear lead, deal, subscription, and lifecycle processes that create alignment between Marketing, Sales, and Account Management.
- Automation & Operational Scalability: Build and enhance automated workflows that eliminate manual tasks, standardize execution, and increase efficiency across the revenue funnel while ensuring systems remain scalable as business complexity grows.
- Data Integrity & Funnel Accuracy: Ensure high data quality and structured governance through audits, enrichment, lifecycle validation, and clear field logic to enable accurate reporting, forecasting, and revenue decision-making.
- Revenue Reporting & Visibility: Develop and maintain operational dashboards and funnel analyses that provide transparency on pipeline health, conversion performance, and revenue metrics to support data-driven GTM management.
- Sales & Marketing Enablement Infrastructure: Enable revenue teams through structured systems, attribution tracking, documentation, and CRM compliance frameworks that improve execution quality and pipeline hygiene.
- AI & GTM Tool Innovation: Contribute to building a modern, AI-supported revenue engine by testing, implementing, and optimizing AI-driven workflows and automation use cases across the GTM technology stack.
- Cross-Functional Revenue Alignment: Act as an operational connector between Marketing, Sales, Account Management, Finance, and RevOps leadership to ensure systems, processes, and data remain aligned as the company scales.
Your Profile
- Bachelor’s degree (or higher) required, ideally in Business, Economics, Engineering, Information Systems, Data, Computer Science, or a comparable field
- 1–2 years of experience in RevOps, Sales Ops, Marketing Ops, Customer Operations, Consulting, or SaaS Operations
- Strong hands-on experience with HubSpot or comparable CRM systems (pipelines, workflows, properties, lifecycle stages) - Experience with or strong interest in automation tools such as Make, n8n, Zapier, or API-based workflows
- Solid understanding of B2B SaaS Go-to-Market fundamentals, including lead management, sales pipelines, subscription revenue, renewals, upsell, and cross-sell
- Strong systems thinking and the ability to understand how Marketing, Sales, and Account Management processes connect end-to-end
- Analytical mindset with the ability to work confidently with data, logic, and KPIs
- High curiosity and motivation to work with AI-driven tools and automation in a practical, business-impact-focused way
- Strong execution mindset: You like to build, test, iterate, and improve processes rather than just document them.
- Ability to collaborate closely with Marketing, Sales, Account Management, and Finance
- Strong English skills for working in international B2B SaaS contexts, German skills are a Plus
