Duties
- Lead the development and execution of comprehensive financial strategies aligned with organizational goals, ensuring sustainable growth and fiscal stability.
- Oversee all aspects of corporate accounting, including financial reporting, compliance with GAAP (Generally Accepted Accounting Principles), IFRS (International Financial Reporting Standards), IAS (International Accounting Standards), and ASC 606 standards.
- Manage risk analysis processes, including SOX (Sarbanes-Oxley Act) compliance, COSO (Committee of Sponsoring Organizations) frameworks, and regulatory reporting requirements.
- Direct treasury management activities such as cash flow forecasting, banking relationships, liquidity management, and investment strategies to optimize financial resources.
- Supervise budgeting processes, cost control initiatives, expense management, and cost accounting to ensure efficient resource allocation across departments.
- Lead mergers & acquisitions activities by conducting market analysis, financial due diligence, valuation modeling, and integration planning.
- Oversee revenue management cycles including revenue recognition policies under ASC 606 and revenue cycle management practices.
- Provide strategic leadership in financial analysis, profit & loss interpretation, business development initiatives, and long-term fiscal planning.
- Supervise the preparation of detailed financial reports and interpret complex data to inform executive decision-making.
- Foster a high-performance finance team through effective supervision, mentorship, and leadership development initiatives.
Skills
- Extensive experience in corporate finance with a strong understanding of financial concepts such as risk management, forecasting, and market analysis.
- Proven expertise in managing SOX compliance, regulatory reporting, governmental accounting standards, and technical accounting practices.
- Proficiency in financial software systems and advanced financial modeling tools for accurate analysis and reporting.
- Deep knowledge of GAAP, IFRS, IAS standards along with experience in ASC 606 revenue recognition principles.
- Strong negotiation skills coupled with business development acumen to identify growth opportunities.
- Exceptional leadership capabilities demonstrated through supervising teams and collaborating with senior leadership on strategic initiatives.
- Expertise in treasury management including cash flow forecasting, expense control, cost management strategies, and supply chain finance considerations.
- Ability to interpret complex financial reports clearly and communicate insights effectively to stakeholders at all levels.
- Skilled in risk analysis techniques for assessing potential vulnerabilities within organizational operations or investments.
