The Finance and IT Department plays a central role in supporting effective, transparent, and modern municipal operations. Reporting to the Chief Administrative Officer and working closely with Council and staff, the Chief Financial Officer/Director of Finance & Information Technology (“CFO”) will lead and manage a broad set of functions including the City’s financial, IT, purchasing, customer billing and collection operations, including performing the statutory duties as the City’s Financial Officer and Collector. These functions are provided to City Council, Police Board, Library Board, Chief Administrative Officer and Senior Management Team. The CFO is a vital member of the City’s Senior Management Team, working in conjunction with all City Department Directors to lead the organization.
