Role Overview

The Chief Financial Officer (CFO) will lead Trzy’s financial strategy, compliance, cash flow management, and long-term growth planning. This role is critical in managing high-volume vendor ecosystems, event-led working capital cycles, and margin optimization across projects and retainers.

The ideal candidate understands services businesses (marketing, events, experiential, retainers), Indian compliance frameworks, and scaling operations in a high-growth environment.

Key Responsibilities1. Financial Strategy & Growth

Define and execute Trzy’s long-term financial strategy
Drive profitability and margin improvement across business lines
Build financial models for expansion, new verticals, and partnerships
Support strategic decision-making at the leadership level

2. Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A)

Lead annual budgeting and rolling forecasts
Develop business line–wise profitability tracking
Create dashboards for revenue, margins, burn, and cash runway
Monitor event-level unit economics and project profitability

3. Cash Flow & Working Capital Management

Manage receivables vs vendor payout cycles
Optimize payment terms and milestone-based billing
Maintain liquidity for large-scale event execution
Implement disciplined credit and collections processes

4. Accounting, Tax & Compliance (India Focus)

Oversee accounting, audits, and statutory filings
Ensure GST, TDS, Income Tax, and ROC compliance
Manage external auditors and financial advisors
Establish strong internal financial controls

5. Operational Finance

Build approval systems for expenses and procurement
Standardize pricing frameworks and contract structures
Improve financial reporting accuracy and timelines
Evaluate and implement accounting/ERP tools as required

6. Leadership & Team Building

Build and lead the finance team
Collaborate with operations, sales, and partnerships teams
Instill financial discipline across departments

Key Qualifications

8–15+ years of progressive finance experience
Prior experience as CFO / Finance Head / Senior Finance Leader preferred
Experience in marketing, events, agency, or services business strongly preferred
Strong knowledge of Indian tax and regulatory environment
CA strongly preferred (MBA Finance is a plus)
Proven expertise in cash flow and working capital management
