About the Job
The CFO at Foundersmax is a key executive leader responsible for building and leading the capital strategy of the venture studio. Partnering closely with the COO and Chief Legal Officer, this role structures, positions, and successfully raises capital for multiple growth funds while overseeing financial strategy, investor engagement, and governance. The CFO ensures disciplined capital deployment that accelerates sustainable, long-term growth across the platform and its portfolio companies.
Key Responsibilities
● Lead end-to-end capital formation for the studio’s investment funds, from structuring
through final close.
● Design fund structures, economic terms, and capital strategies in partnership with Legal
and executive leadership.
● Develop and execute investor strategy targeting institutional LPs, family offices, and
strategic investors.
● Lead investor outreach, relationship management, roadshows, and fundraising
negotiations.
● Build and oversee fund-level financial models, including projections, return modeling
(IRR/MOIC), and scenario analysis.
● Develop capital allocation frameworks across portfolio ventures and stages.
● Oversee preparation of fundraising materials, data rooms, and investor reporting
packages.
● Ensure regulatory compliance, audit readiness, and institutional-grade financial
governance.
● Lead financial due diligence for fund investments and capital deployment decisions.
● Monitor fund performance, liquidity management, and portfolio capital efficiency.
● Establish scalable finance systems, reporting infrastructure, and internal controls.
● Present fund strategy and performance to boards, LPs, and investment committees.
Qualifications
● Proven track record raising capital for investment funds
● 10+ years of senior finance experience in venture capital, private equity, growth equity,
or venture-backed environments
● Deep expertise in fund structuring, financial modeling, and investor negotiations
● Strong partnership orientation with executive and legal leadership
● Experience leading financial strategy, scaling infrastructure and supporting rapid
expansion through capital planning.
● CPA, CFA, or MBA required.

Pay: $100,000.00 - $185,000.00 per year
