Business Operations Manager, you'll be driving strategic initiatives and optimizing processes that support our stores and merchandising organization. The work you do will impact beauty, as you ensure our stores can focus on delivering best-in-class client experiences through streamlined operations and innovative programs. What You'll Do
- Program Management. Execute day-to-day operations of merchandising programs, support cross-functional business partner management, and drive store communications. Partner with Merchants, Merchandising Operations, Store Communications, and IT to bring initiatives to life.
- Strategic Partnership. Act as the store expert and thought partner for projects, ensuring decisions support our overall operating model and strategy when driving change across the organization. Represent Business Operations in cross-functional meetings.
- Process Optimization. Drive optimizations for key programs and initiatives to eliminate inefficiencies, reduce store workload, and maximize productivity, ensuring Policy and Procedure changes can be executed seamlessly in stores.
- Project Leadership. Manage multiple projects by driving timelines, deliverables, KPI reporting, recaps, and action plans post-delivery to drive continuous improvement. Present progress, risks, and mitigation strategies to all levels within the organization.
- Training & Development. Oversee the development of training programs to ensure store retention for all Business Operations Team projects. Lead project postmortems to identify learnings and future opportunities.
- Issue Management. Proactively identify potential problems, assess their impact, and implement effective solutions. Travel to Sephora stores as needed to check on project progress and gather feedback.
What You'll Bring
- Retail Expertise. 3+ years of retail project management experience, with retail operations experience preferred. You understand the store environment and can translate strategy into executable action.
- Project Management Excellence. Strong organizational, time management, and problem-solving skills with demonstrated ability to lead multiple projects across different domains concurrently. Experience with Smartsheet or other project management software is a plus.
- Communication Mastery. Highly developed verbal, written, and presentation skills with the ability to provide effective feedback to multiple levels of people within the organization.
- Strategic Thinking. Strong critical thinking and analytical abilities with the courage to make key decisions independently. You're comfortable with ambiguity and willing to act with limited information.
- Innovative Mindset. You contribute new ideas and process improvements to find solutions to business challenges, with exceptional attention to detail, work ethic, and work product quality.
- Technical Proficiency. Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite and familiarity with project management platforms.
What You’ll Get
The annual base salary range for this position is $100,000.00 - $106,000.00 The actual base salary offered depends on a variety of factors, which may include, as applicable, the applicant’s qualifications for the position; years of relevant experience; specific and unique skills; level of education attained; certifications or other professional licenses held; other legitimate, non-discriminatory business factors specific to the position; and the geographic location in which the applicant lives and/or from which they will perform the job. Individuals employed in this position may also be eligible to earn bonuses. This job will be posted for a minimum of five days.
