Overview
We are seeking a Senior Global Commercial Excellence Manager (Global Sales Operations) to lead high-impact initiatives that strengthen commercial performance across sales, marketing, and go-to-market operations. This role will spearhead transformational programs across commercial technologies, reporting and analytics, and GTM execution—driving better decision-making, operational efficiency, and revenue outcomes.
This is a highly cross-functional role, partnering closely with Commercial, Marketing, IT/Data, Finance, and regional leadership teams to design, implement, and scale commercial excellence capabilities across the organization.
Key Responsibilities
- Commercial Excellence Strategy & ExecutionLead commercial excellence initiatives aligned to strategic business priorities.
- Ensure commercial data, reporting, and analytics projects are executed effectively and adopted across teams.
- Partner with global and regional stakeholders to deliver consistent, scalable solutions.
- Cross-Functional LeadershipLead and influence cross-functional teams across Commercial, Marketing, IT/Data, and Finance.
- Facilitate alignment, communication, and execution across complex, multi-stakeholder initiatives.
- Analytics, Reporting & InsightsDrive the development and enhancement of dashboards and reporting tools for commercial performance metrics.
- Define and track KPIs, customer segmentation, and performance measures in partnership with Finance, IT, and Commercial teams.
- Champion BI solutions (e.g., Power BI) to enable data-driven decision-making.
- Change Management & AdoptionLead change management and adoption strategies for new commercial tools, reporting, and analytics solutions.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for project updates, risks, and stakeholder communications.
- Innovation & Continuous ImprovementIdentify opportunities to improve commercial processes, automation, and reporting efficiency.
- Implement best practices to enhance operational effectiveness and scalability.
- Develop data-driven recommendations and prioritized roadmaps for future commercial capabilities.
- Project Management & GovernanceMonitor project timelines, budgets, risks, and outcomes.
- Prepare executive-ready updates and presentations for senior stakeholders.
- QualificationsBachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Analytics, or a related field (Master’s preferred).
- 10+ years of experience in commercial excellence, sales operations, revenue operations, analytics, or related roles.
- Strong experience with commercial technologies, CRM systems (Microsoft Dynamics preferred), and marketing data.
- Deep expertise in BI and reporting tools (Power BI strongly preferred).
- Proven ability to lead cross-functional initiatives and influence without direct authority.
- Exceptional analytical, problem-solving, and critical-thinking skills.
- Strong communication, presentation, and stakeholder management capabilities.
