Senior Director, Business Applications
Pay Details:
The annual base salary range for this position in California is $220,000 to $260,000 per year. The starting pay for the successful candidate depends on various job-related factors, including but not limited to the candidate’s geographic location, job-related knowledge, skills, experience, education/training, internal value, peer equity, external market demands, and organizational considerations.
The Senior Director, Business Applications is a key technology executive responsible for shaping and executing the enterprise applications strategy across OCVIBE’s expanding portfolio of sports, entertainment, hospitality, real estate, and special events operations.
This leader ensures that platforms such as ERP, CRM, point-of-sale, marketing, and integration systems effectively support business growth, operational excellence, and financial performance.
Acting as a strategic partner to business leaders, the Senior Director aligns technology capabilities with enterprise objectives, bridging operations, finance, and customer experience through scalable, data-driven solutions. The ideal candidate combines deep technical acumen with strong business intuition, guiding a multi-disciplinary team to deliver transformative, value-based outcomes.
Responsibilities
Define and execute the enterprise applications roadmap, ensuring alignment with corporate objectives and digital transformation priorities
Partner with executive leadership (Finance, Operations, Marketing, Real Estate, and Special Events) to identify technology-enabled efficiencies and growth opportunities
Lead governance around system architecture, data integrity, and integration strategy to enable seamless cross-platform operations
Lead and develop the Business Applications organization, including functional analysts, application administrators, and integration specialists
Establish a center of excellence (COE) for enterprise applications, promoting standardization, best practices, and measurable performance
Drive organizational change management, ensuring high adoption and ROI on system investments
Oversee the design, implementation, and continuous improvement of core enterprise platforms, including Microsoft D365 Finance & Operations, Oracle NetSuite, Salesforce, and related systems
Prioritize and manage a portfolio of business system initiatives, balancing strategic projects, enhancements, and operational stability
Oversee vendor management, contract negotiations, and partner performance to ensure scalability, reliability, and innovation
Skills
Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Business Administration, or a related field required
Master’s degree or relevant certifications (e.g., PMP, SAFe) preferred
Minimum of 8–10 years of experience in enterprise application management, business systems analysis, or IT program leadership, with 3+ years in a managerial capacity
Demonstrated success leading large-scale ERP/CRM ecosystems (NetSuite, Microsoft D365, Salesforce) in multi-entity environments
Extensive experience supporting and optimizing real estate business applications, including Yardi and Entrata, to enable efficient operations across mixed-use property portfolios
Strong understanding of end-to-end business processes and how they are enabled through enterprise systems
Ability to translate technical concepts into business language and facilitate decision-making among diverse stakeholders
Excellent leadership, project management, and stakeholder engagement skills, with exceptional strategic planning, communication, and change leadership capabilities
Proven record of managing large budgets and vendor portfolios
Background in sports, entertainment, real estate, or hospitality industries preferred
This is an on-site position based in Anaheim; some evening or weekend work may be required during system rollouts or event-driven business cycles
