Critical Sports and Entertainment (CSE) is a national sports platform integrating live events, athlete representation, media production, and league development. The company operates a portfolio of sports properties including Critical Combat, United Combat League (UCL), and Unity Combat Series, creating an ecosystem that connects athletes, fans, brands, and media through live sports experiences. The platform’s revenue model spans multiple sources including event ticketing, sponsorships, broadcast partnerships, brand integrations, tourism partnerships, merchandise, and athlete NIL representation. CSE is entering a major growth phase, expanding its event footprint, launching new league infrastructure, and building long-term brand partnerships.
The Role
We are seeking a Chief Revenue Officer (CRO) to lead commercial strategy and revenue growth across the CSE platform. This executive will oversee sponsorship sales, media partnerships, ticketing strategies, brand collaborations, and athlete NIL opportunities across multiple sports properties. Working closely with the CEO and leadership team, the CRO will build the revenue infrastructure needed to support national expansion.
What You’ll Do
Revenue Strategy
- Lead overall revenue planning across CSE properties
- Develop scalable commercial models across events, leagues, and media
Sponsorship & Brand Partnerships
- Secure national sponsorship agreements and brand partnerships
- Develop integrated partnership packages spanning multiple properties
Event Monetization
- Drive ticketing, VIP, and premium event revenue strategies
- Build sponsor activations tied to live events and championships
Media & Broadcast Revenue
- Develop partnerships with broadcasters, streaming platforms, and media distributors
- Build monetization strategies tied to sports content and event storytelling
Athlete & NIL Opportunities
- Develop brand partnership pipelines tied to athlete representation
- Expand NIL and athlete-driven sponsorship initiatives
Commercial Infrastructure
- Build scalable sales systems and partnership pipelines
- Structure long-term sponsorship relationships across company ventures
Ideal Background
Commercial Leaders
- Experience in sports sponsorship sales, partnerships, or sports business development
- Strong relationships with brands, agencies, and media buyers
- Experience structuring commercial partnerships tied to live events or sports properties
Senior Revenue Executives
- Senior leadership experience in sports leagues, teams, agencies, or live-event platforms
- Proven track record generating sponsorship and partnership revenue
- Experience building commercial infrastructure for high-growth organizations
Compensation
This role includes equity participation in Critical Sports and Entertainment, aligning executive leadership with the company’s long-term growth. Compensation includes: (a) equity ownership in the company; (b) base salary following completion of the current capital raise; and (c) participation in revenue generated across company properties
Expected initial total compensation range: $125,000 – $160,000
With long-term potential to scale toward: $250,000+ total compensation as revenue expands across events, leagues, and media initiatives
