Role Description
This is a remote contract role for a Chief Financial Officer (CFO). The CFO will be responsible for overseeing financial planning, preparing and analyzing financial statements, managing financial reporting processes, and ensuring the financial health and sustainability of the organization. Additionally, the CFO will contribute strategic financial insights to drive decision-making, maintain regulatory compliance, and support the overall growth and operations of the company.
Qualifications
- Proven experience leading finance for SaaS or marketplace companies, with a strong grasp of unit economics, ARR, CAC/LTV, and scalable revenue models
- Expertise in financial planning, reporting, and strategic analysis to guide executive decision-making
- Deep experience preparing and overseeing financial statements, audits, and investor-ready reporting
- Advanced capability in budgeting, forecasting, cash flow management, and capital allocation in high-growth environments
- Strong understanding of financial controls, regulatory compliance, and corporate governance
- Demonstrated ability to parter with founders and executive teams to drive growth, efficiency, and long-term financial strategy
- Exceptional leadership, communication, and operational decision-making skills
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field required; MBA, CPA, or CFA strongly preferred
- Experience in beauty, consumer marketplaces, or vertical SaaS platforms is a plus
