A well-established financial institution is seeking a Chief Financial Officer (CFO) to join its executive leadership team. This role will lead the organization’s financial strategy, reporting, investment management, and fiscal performance while partnering closely with executive leadership and the Board of Directors.
The CFO will play a key role in ensuring financial strength, regulatory compliance, and long-term strategic growth.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead financial strategy, planning, and performance management
- Partner with executive leadership and the Board on financial direction
- Develop long-term financial plans aligned with organizational growth
- Evaluate financial impact of strategic business initiatives
Financial Reporting & Compliance:
- Oversee financial reporting in accordance with GAAP
- Ensure compliance with applicable federal and state banking regulations
- Maintain strong internal controls and asset protection practices
- Serve as key liaison with auditors and regulatory agencies
Treasury & Investment Management:
- Manage liquidity, capital planning, and balance sheet strategy
- Oversee the institution’s investment portfolio and securities management
- Monitor financial markets and make investment recommendations
- Support asset and liability management initiatives
Leadership & Operational Oversight:
- Lead and develop the accounting and finance teams
- Foster strong financial discipline across the organization
- Support cross-functional leadership and strategic initiatives
- Drive improvements in financial processes and operational efficiency
Qualifications:
- Certified Public Accountant (CPA) required
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance
- Advanced degree preferred
- Senior finance leadership experience within banking or financial institutions
- Experience managing financial reporting, treasury, and investment oversight
- Strong knowledge of GAAP, regulatory reporting, and banking operations
- Excellent analytical, strategic, and communication skills
- Ability to collaborate with executive leadership and Boards of Directors
