About The Role
As the Sales Planning Sr. Associate, you will own the end-to-end sales planning lifecycle-from developing GTM strategies, to partnering with finance to set targets, to allocating quotas and managing compensation. This is a role built for a high-energy operator who can balance analytical rigor and operational excellence to ensure our global sales teams operate at peak efficiency.
What You'll Do
- Design GTM Strategy: Build the systems, processes, and operational standards that define how we go to market globally.
- Lead Target Setting: Develop and execute an integrated quota-setting framework that drives business success.
- Optimize the Book of Business: Direct account segmentation and territory design, ensuring our sales resources are deployed where they have the highest impact.
- Drive Performance Insights: Translate raw data into actionable performance recommendations and accurate sales forecasts.
- Cross-Functional Alignment: Collaborate with Sales, HR, Finance, and Central teams to streamline and execute operations
Basic Qualifications
- 4+ Years of Experience: A proven track record in Sales Strategy, Sales Planning, or GTM Operations.
- Planning Subject Matter Expert: Experience in variable compensation, quota setting, and market segmentation.
- Technical proficiency: Intermediate to advanced proficiency in SQL, Salesforce or other CRM, and the Microsoft/Google productivity suites
- Bachelor's Degree.
Preferred Qualifications
- Strategic Depth: 5+ years in GTM functions or a background in a high-growth B2B environment.
- Analytical Storyteller: You interpret complex sets into persuasive presentations for leadership.
- Strong Stakeholder engagement: You work effectively with ICs and leaders across multiple functions.
- Process Builder: A demonstrated ability to create and refine sales policies and processes that drive measurable operational efficiency.
- Field Perspective: 2-3 years of direct experience as an Account Manager or AE, giving you a firsthand understanding of the sales funnel.
- Advanced Education: MBA or a Master's degree in a quantitative field (Economics, Math, Business).
For Chicago, IL-based roles: The base salary range for this role is USD$118,000 per year - USD$131,000 per year. For New York, NY-based roles: The base salary range for this role is USD$131,000 per year - USD$145,500 per year. For San Francisco, CA-based roles: The base salary range for this role is USD$131,000 per year - USD$145,500 per year. For Seattle, WA-based roles: The base salary range for this role is USD$118,000 per year - USD$131,000 per year. For all US locations, you will be eligible to participate in Uber's bonus program, and may be offered an equity award & other types of comp.
