Our client, an elite multi office litigation firm with a growing national platform, is seeking a Chief Financial Officer with 10 or more years of law firm experience to join its leadership team. This is a true executive position with direct access to the Management Committee and equity partners, helping guide the firm’s next phase of growth.
The CFO will lead the firm’s full finance enterprise which includes financial planning and analysis, accounting and financial reporting, treasury and capital planning, partnership finance and distributions, billing and collections, working capital management, tax, audit and risk management, and financial systems and reporting infrastructure. The firm reports on an accrual basis, while leadership reporting is increasingly focused on cash driven operating visibility to ensure partner distributions, capital planning, and growth initiatives are grounded in reconciled, real time financial intelligence.
The mandate for this role is to strengthen the firm’s financial architecture and reporting clarity, improve liquidity discipline and working capital performance, and support firm leadership as the platform continues to grow. Compensation includes a base salary ($475K to $550K+) plus bonus and a comprehensive executive level benefits package.
The CFO will serve as a trusted financial advisor to firm leadership, translating financial data into strategic insight while aligning partners and administrative leadership around performance, liquidity, and long-term financial strategy.
