Salary : $110,000 - $120,000
Our client is currently seeking a highly hands-on CFO for their mission driven organization that has a small office staff with a big mission!

The Role
The accounting function is closely linked to the organization’s endowment and involves endowment/foundation accounting, board reporting, and managing money in/out for fundraising activities.
The successful hire must offer practical leadership, ensure adherence to GAAP, maintain and allocate documentation, projections, reporting, and actively partner with the executive.

Core accounting (including chart of accounts, posting, reconciliations, compliance)

Endowment/foundation accounting (allocations, tracking, reporting)

Team leadership/operational oversight of finance staff

Hands-on accounting, manage a team, ensure compliance with nonprofit (GAAP) standards, drive process improvement, work with CEO, prepare/provide financials for board and committees, take part in meetings.
Preferred Qualifications of the CFO

BS Accounting/Finance/Business related field

3+ years of nonprofit accounting experience within a leadership role; must understand nonprofit fund, endowment, and board reporting

Ability to operate on-site and provide team direction/clarification in a small, mission-driven finance team
