Role Purpose
The CFO will serve as a strategic architect of the company’s financial future. As we prepare for our IPO journey, you will be responsible for institutionalizing financial discipline, optimizing our capital structure, and ensuring the highest standards of corporate governance. You will act as a key advisor to the CEO, transforming financial data into actionable growth strategies.
Key Responsibilities
1. Strategic Leadership & IPO Readiness
- Vision Alignment: Translate corporate vision into long-term financial models and a multi-year IPO roadmap.
- Capital Stewardship: Partner with the Board to manage capital structuring, equity/debt fundraising, and investor relations.
- Public Readiness: Lead the transformation of financial reporting and compliance to meet SEBI/regulatory standards for listing.
2. Financial Planning & Performance (FP&A)
- Budgetary Control: Lead the annual budgeting process and long-term forecasting; implement rigorous variance analysis and corrective action protocols.
- Profitability & Efficiency: Drive group-wide cost optimization initiatives and improve working capital cycles to maximize free cash flow.
- Data-Driven Insight: Develop a robust MIS framework to provide the leadership team with real-time visibility into business performance.
3. Controllership & Process Excellence
- Governance: Oversee all accounting, taxation, and audit functions across group companies, ensuring "gold standard" accuracy.
- Standardization: Drive the unification of financial processes and ERP workflows across all business units.
- Compliance & Risk: Ensure 100% adherence to Direct/Indirect tax laws and the Companies Act. Establish internal financial controls (IFC) to mitigate enterprise risk.
4. Treasury & Banking
- Liquidity Management: Oversee group-wide banking operations, fund allocation, and treasury functions.
- Relationship Management: Maintain and leverage high-level relationships with banks and FIs to secure funding for CAPEX and expansion.
5. People & Culture
- Mentorship: Build a high-performing finance team; foster a culture of accountability, precision, and continuous improvement.
