Prospera Executive has been retained on a search for a Chief Financial Officer for a private equity backed professional services business based in Dallas.
The company is operating at approximately $100M in revenue and is entering its next phase of growth and value creation alongside an active and engaged sponsor.
This is a hands-on CFO role for an experienced operator who is comfortable working in the detail while also acting as a strategic partner to the CEO and Board.
The Role
- Partner closely with the CEO and private equity sponsor to drive performance and value creation
- Lead all aspects of finance, including FP&A, cash flow management, budgeting, forecasting, and reporting
- Build and scale finance processes, systems, and team capabilities in a growing business
- Establish clear KPI frameworks and performance visibility across the organisation
- Support strategic initiatives including M&A, integration, and operational improvement
- Operate effectively within a sponsor-backed environment, including regular board interaction
Candidate Profile
- Proven CFO experience within a private equity–backed environment
- Experience operating at ~$100M+ revenue scale (or similar)
- Hands-on, low-ego operator comfortable managing both strategic and day-to-day finance responsibilities
- Strong experience in cash flow management, working capital, and financial discipline
- Comfortable working with an active sponsor and navigating board dynamics
- Background in professional services, business services, or adjacent sectors preferred
