Job Qualifications
Master's degree in accounting or finance and fifteen years of progressive experience in financial management with at least seven years at the executive level are required.
Degree focus in accounting or finance preferred.
Experience In The Retail Industry Is Preferred.
Certified Public Accountant (CPA) or Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) preferred.

Major Duties
Oversees and directs the development of program budgets and maintenance of accurate financial records and provision of financial-related services. Ensures systems and procedures are in place for the effective and efficient execution of financial management.
Ensures effective asset management which includes cash flow, banking relationships, investments, risk management, self-insurance programs, and financing of benefits.
Ensures effective budgeting and maintenance of worldwide Exchange facility management and real estate operations.
Develops and oversees the management of the Exchange operating budgets and inventory control processes. Oversees the development and execution of financial programs, policies, and procedures. Keeps abreast of financial/accounting regulations and emerging technologies for managing finance operations.
Oversees the development and execution of Military Star Card/in-house credit card growth strategies including designing effective and efficient credit/collections programs that support an increase in sales and revenues while reducing risk.
Collaborates with internal management, Board of Directors, and external entities to resolve issues, implement improvements, provide financial information, and ensure the best selection of service providers.
Fosters a culture where corporate citizenship translates into unwavering support for the Exchange mission and vision and promotes the highest ethical standards. Provides leadership, coaching and development to all associates. Drives employee engagement and fosters an environment that rewards performance in the Exchange.
