Overview
MSM Group is seeking an accomplished and visionary Chief Financial Officer (CFO) to lead its global finance function. This is a strategic leadership role with responsibility for driving financial strategy, investor relations, fundraising, governance, and compliance across MSM’s global operations. The ideal candidate will bring a proven track record in managing large-scale financial operations, securing funding for growth, and leading IPO initiatives.
Core Requirements
- Banking Relationships: Strong network of senior-level contacts in both domestic and international banks; proven ability to leverage these relationships for funding, credit lines, and enhancing investor confidence.
- IPO Experience: Hands-on exposure in managing Initial Public Offerings end-to-end, including roadshows, compliance, pricing, investor engagement, and post-listing management.
- Project Funding Expertise: Ability to structure and secure funding for global expansion, acquisitions, and new ventures; familiarity with multiple financing instruments.
- Investor Relations: Demonstrated success in engaging with institutional investors, private equity firms, and VCs; ability to articulate MSM’s vision and financial strategy effectively.
Key Responsibilities
- Global Finance & Accounts Oversight: Lead all finance, treasury, audit, and accounting operations across geographies.
- Strategic Fundraising: Drive capital raising initiatives including debt, equity, project finance, and IPO readiness.
- Governance & Compliance: Ensure adherence to international accounting standards, tax regulations, and global reporting requirements.
- Financial Planning & Analysis: Lead budgeting, forecasting, risk management, and business modeling for global operations.
- Leadership Role: Mentor and build a high-performing finance team; collaborate closely with the CEO, Board of Directors, and business leaders on strategic initiatives.
Ideal Profile
- Professional qualifications: CA / CPA / CFA (or equivalent advanced financial qualification).
- 15–20+ years of progressive leadership experience in Finance, with at least 5 years in a Group CFO or equivalent role.
- Proven exposure to international markets (U.S., Canada, UK, Asia preferred).
- Previous experience in EdTech, Higher Education, or diversified multinational companies is an added advantage.
- Strong communication skills and a confident boardroom presence.
