We’re looking for an exceptional early operator to work directly with the founder. This is a role for someone with unusual range: highly strategic and highly executional, creative in instinct and rigorous in judgment. Someone who can move comfortably between customer research, growth experiments, market insight, brand intuition, and operational follow-through.
This person will help drive the earliest learning and momentum at GlowGuide. The scope is broad. You may be running tactical marketing experiments one day, conducting field research with consumers and med aesthetic experts the next, and helping translate those insights into sharper strategy, better decisions, and faster execution across the business.
This is not a traditional role with a narrow lane. It is for someone who wants to be close to the work, close to the customer, and close to the founder while helping shape how a category-defining company gets built.
What you’ll do
- Run tactical experiments across marketing, growth, and go-to-market
- Conduct customer research in the field with both consumers and med aesthetic experts
- Synthesize insights into clear recommendations and next steps
- Support business operations across whatever is most important to company-building
- Work directly with the founder on priorities, decisions, and execution
Minimum qualifications
- 2+ years of relevant experience in business operations, growth, strategy, marketing, or a similarly high-ownership role
- Clear evidence of exceptional ability, judgment, and follow-through
- Strong analytical rigor and comfort working from ambiguity
- Strong creative and social instincts, especially around consumers and trends
- Excitement for GlowGuide’s mission and the chance to build from the earliest stage
Preferred qualifications
- Experience in consumer tech, startups, beauty, wellness, or healthcare-adjacent categories
- Experience running experiments, conducting research, and turning insights into action
- Strong communication skills, both written and interpersonal
- Comfort operating in fast-moving environments with limited structure
This is a contract role with potential for full time
Based in the SF Bay Area with some in-person time required
