/ Lead financial stewardship, performance and enterprise discipline
/ Support a major period of organisational change and growth
/ Join an Executive Team shaping the next chapter of Helping Hand
Helping Hand is one of South Australia’s leading profit-for-purpose aged care and community service providers, supporting older people to live their best lives through residential aged care, home care and retirement living.
With a large and diverse service footprint across SA, significant workforce, substantial property interests and a clear strategic agenda, Helping Hand is entering an important phase focused on enhanced performance, disciplined execution and future service expansion.
Reporting to the CEO, the role oversees financial performance and governance across budgeting, forecasting, reporting, treasury, cashflow, investments, capital planning, insurance, procurement and business partnering. The role is critical in establishing confidence at Board and Executive level through high quality financial stewardship, dynamic forecasting and reporting discipline, return on investment accountability, strong commercial insights and procurement oversight.
The CFO will play an important role in supporting strategic priorities including service improvement and efficiency, long-term capital planning, precinct and property development activity, organisational capability, sustainability and decision-making, and inorganic growth opportunities. The role will also lead the successful implementation of a contemporary finance system and associated change processes to improve financial integrity, transparency, efficiency and organisational performance.
We are seeking an experienced and highly credible executive who combines strategic capability with operational discipline. You will bring a strong track record in enterprise financial leadership, disciplined governance and sustainable business performance, together with the judgement and maturity to operate effectively in a complex, service based and multi stakeholder environment.
You will be a trusted adviser to the CEO and Board, an enterprise leader and a valued, steady and constructive member of the Executive Team. You bring clarity, follow-through and sound judgement, building confidence and enabling strong organisational outcomes. You lift performance through others and strengthen organisational capability in a way that honours Helping Hand’s values, service ethos and caring culture.
Candidates will bring executive financial leadership expertise from a large, complex or regulated environment, with experience in health, aged care, community services, government, infrastructure or other similarly complex sectors.
This is a significant opportunity to make a meaningful contribution to a respected purpose driven organisation while helping shape its next phase of financial strength, service performance and strategic delivery.
