Job Summary
We are seeking a dynamic and strategic Chief Financial Officer (CFO) to lead our financial operations and drive sustainable growth. As a key member of the executive leadership team, the CFO will oversee all financial activities, including accounting, budgeting, financial planning, risk management, and regulatory compliance. Duties
- Develop and execute comprehensive financial strategies aligned with organizational goals to ensure long-term fiscal health and growth.
- Oversee corporate accounting functions, ensuring adherence to GAAP (Generally Accepted Accounting Principles), IFRS (International Financial Reporting Standards), IAS (International Accounting Standards), and other regulatory frameworks such as ASC 606 and COSO.
- Lead budgeting processes, financial forecasting, and revenue management initiatives to optimize profitability and resource allocation.
- Manage risk analysis and implement effective risk management practices to safeguard organizational assets and ensure compliance with SOX (Sarbanes-Oxley Act) requirements.
- Supervise treasury management activities including cash flow forecasting, banking relationships, and investment strategies to maximize liquidity.
- Oversee financial reporting, interpretation of financial reports, and preparation of detailed financial statements for internal stakeholders and regulatory agencies.
- Drive business development efforts through market analysis, strategic planning, mergers & acquisitions, and revenue cycle management to expand organizational impact.
- Lead cost control initiatives, expense management, and cost accounting practices to improve operational efficiency.
- Supervise finance teams responsible for payroll management, supply chain finance, governmental accounting, and technical accounting functions.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant standards such as GAAP, IFRS, IAS, and governmental regulations while maintaining high standards of ethical conduct.
Experience
- Proven experience as a senior finance executive or CFO within a complex organization or non-profit environment.
- Extensive background in corporate finance including mergers & acquisitions, revenue cycle management, and strategic planning.
- Demonstrated expertise in financial analysis, modeling, forecasting, and business analysis to inform decision-making.
- Strong knowledge of regulatory reporting standards such as SOX compliance, ASC 606 revenue recognition rules, COSO framework for internal controls, and governmental accounting principles.
- Hands-on experience with financial software systems used for general ledger management, reporting automation, and data analysis.
- Supervisory experience leading diverse finance teams across functions such as accounting, treasury, risk management, and compliance.
- Exceptional negotiation skills with a track record of successful business development initiatives.
- Deep understanding of fiscal management concepts including profit & loss statements, cost control strategies, expense management techniques, and market analysis methodologies.
