Note: This is
not a core SAP FICO role. Candidates must come from a finance/business background (CA/ICWA/CPA/CMA) with hands-on experience in cost and revenue allocation. SAP FICO knowledge should be at a business user level.
Job Description
We are looking for a detail-oriented and analytical Business Operations Consultant who can drive business process optimization through effective cost mapping and revenue allocation. The ideal candidate should have a strong understanding of financial and operational workflows, with the ability to translate business processes into measurable cost structures.
Key Responsibilities
- Analyze and map end-to-end business processes to identify cost drivers and optimization opportunities
- Design and implement cost mapping frameworks across business units/functions
- Develop and manage cost allocation models ensuring accurate distribution across products, services, or departments
- Collaborate with finance, operations, and leadership teams to understand reporting requirements and improve cost efficiency and profitability
- Prepare reports, dashboards, and actionable insights for stakeholders
- Support decision-making through data-driven analysis and financial modeling
- Identify process gaps and recommend improvements aligned with business objectives
- Work closely with technical teams for implementation support
- Apply working knowledge of SAP (FI/CO) from a business user perspective
Skills & Experience
- 6+ years of experience in Business Operations / Financial Analysis / Consulting roles
- Strong experience in cost mapping, cost allocation, and revenue allocation methodologies
- Good understanding of business process mapping and optimization
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Advanced proficiency in Excel and data analysis tools
- Experience working with cross-functional stakeholders
- Working knowledge of SAP (FI/CO or related modules)
- Exposure to process consulting or transformation projects
- Strong business acumen with structured thinking and attention to detail
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
- Proactive and solution-oriented mindset
