We are seeking a highly structured, execution-oriented Head of Business Operations to strengthen internal systems, improve accountability, streamline reporting, and enhance operational visibility across the organization. This role will serve as the central operational coordination and control layer of the company, ensuring smooth day-to-day functioning across sales operations, distributor coordination, reporting, inventory management, production tracking, marketplace operations, logistics, and overall process execution.
The ideal candidate should be process-driven, analytical, detail-oriented, and capable of managing multiple cross-functional workflows in a fast-paced FMCG/D2C environment. The role requires strong ownership of business MIS and reporting systems, including tracking sales performance across offline, marketplace, and D2C channels, maintaining operational dashboards, ensuring reporting accuracy, and standardizing reporting formats across departments.
The candidate will closely coordinate with sales teams, distributors, ASMs, RSMs, ecommerce partners, warehouse teams, procurement, finance, logistics, and marketing functions to ensure operational alignment and execution discipline.
Responsibilities will also include monitoring distributor billing, collections, stock movement, inventory ageing, production schedules, procurement timelines, packaging readiness, dispatch planning, marketplace operations, returns management, and operational escalations.
Also, the role will focus on building SOPs, improving process discipline, strengthening accountability systems, identifying operational inefficiencies, and ensuring timely follow-ups across departments. The candidate will also support HR and administrative operations, including onboarding coordination, attendance tracking, payroll inputs, hiring support, and process compliance.
The ideal professional should have 5–10 years of experience in business operations, commercial operations, or sales operations, preferably within FMCG, skincare, beauty, personal care, or D2C businesses. Strong analytical capabilities, advanced Excel/Google Sheets proficiency, MIS reporting expertise, operational coordination skills, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced founder-led environment are essential for success in this role.
