Chief Financial Officer – PE-Backed Consumer Brand (Dallas, TX)
Our private equity client is seeking a Chief Financial Officer to partner with the CEO of a fast-growing,
design-driven consumer brand in the women’s apparel, accessories, and gift space. Based within a few
miles from Downtown Dallas off I35, the company generates eight-figure revenue and is positioned for
significant growth through both organic expansion and strategic acquisitions.
This is a highly visible, hands-on leadership role responsible for driving financial strategy, operational
execution, and scalable infrastructure in a dynamic, entrepreneurial environment. The CFO will play a
critical role in supporting the company’s evolution into a multi-brand platform.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead all aspects of finance, accounting, and reporting, ensuring GAAP compliance and best-in-
class financial controls
Partner with the CEO and private equity sponsors on strategic planning, forecasting, and
performance optimization
Oversee FP&A, including budgeting, cash flow management, and three-statement modeling
Manage lender relationships, debt compliance, and investor reporting
Drive operational excellence across inventory management, purchasing, and supply chain
finance
Build and enhance systems, processes, and reporting infrastructure to support scale and
acquisitions
Qualifications:
CPA (or equivalent) with a strong foundation in GAAP, audit, and financial reporting
Experience in consumer products, wholesale distribution, and/or e-commerce businesses
Demonstrated success in inventory-intensive environments, including working capital
optimization
Prior experience working with private equity sponsors and leveraged capital structures
Strong systems orientation, including experience with QuickBooks and advanced Excel
capabilities
Strategic mindset with the ability to operate at both a high level and in a hands-on capacity
