Head of Business
Location: Swindon
Salary: | £85,000 – £90,000+ OTE
Hours: Monday–Saturday (day off in week)
🧾 The Role
We are recruiting for an experienced Head of Business to lead and oversee all aspects of dealership operations in Swindon.
This senior leadership role is responsible for strategic direction, profitability, and overall performance across sales, aftersales, and business operations. You will report directly to the group or regional management and drive growth, customer satisfaction, and team development.
🔧 Key Responsibilities
- Oversee all dealership departments: Sales (new & used), Aftersales, Parts, Workshop
- Drive profitability, KPIs, and operational efficiency
- Lead, mentor, and develop senior managers across departments
- Ensure compliance with manufacturer standards and company policies
- Set and monitor strategic business objectives
- Manage budgets, forecasting, and financial reporting
- Maintain and improve customer experience (CSI / NPS)
- Build strong relationships with manufacturer representatives and stakeholders
- Identify opportunities for growth and expansion
✅ Requirements
- Proven experience as a Head of Business, General Manager, or Group Manager in automotive retail
- Strong leadership, commercial, and operational skills
- Track record of profitability, growth, and KPI achievement
- Excellent communication and strategic planning ability
- Experience with multi-department management
- Full UK driving licence
