About JOBJIM
JOBJIM is a career transition platform built on strong values. We believe that meaningful work is a calling, and we exist to help people navigate the changing landscape of employment with confidence, dignity, and purpose.
AI is reshaping every industry—and millions of workers are feeling the impact. The career transition market is a $19.5 billion opportunity, yet it remains fragmented between expensive legacy outplacement firms, generic job boards, and niche tools that solve only one piece of the puzzle. JOBJIM is building the comprehensive, AI-powered ecosystem that connects the dots: real-time job market intelligence, personalized upskilling pathways, bridge financing, community support, and direct connections to employers—all in one platform, accessible to everyone.
We’re launching in the DFW Metroplex and scaling nationally. Our platform is built. Our strategy is mapped. Now we need the commercial leader to bring it to life.
The Role
We are looking for an exceptional entrepreneurial leader to join as our Chief Revenue Officer (CRO) on an equity co-founder track. This is not a traditional executive hire—it is an invitation to co-build a company from the ground up, with a meaningful ownership stake as your primary compensation.
You will own the full commercial engine: B2B corporate partnerships, B2G government and institutional sales, affiliate ecosystem development, and user acquisition strategy. You will take JOBJIM from a grassroots MVP to a product with real traction and paying partners.
What You Will Do
1. Execute Corporate Partnership Sales — lead outreach to DFW-based enterprises (Fortune 500 and mid-market companies undergoing workforce transitions) to secure sponsored employee subscriptions as a modern alternative to traditional outplacement.
2. Build the Affiliate Partner Ecosystem — negotiate referral agreements with EdTech providers, bootcamps, lenders, bridge capital options, and mental health/counseling services.
3. Drive Government & Institutional Partnerships — engage workforce development boards, state agencies, the U.S. Department of Labor, and philanthropic foundations.
4. Design & Execute User Acquisition Strategy — content marketing, LinkedIn thought leadership, community engagement, and grassroots outreach to build the user base from zero.
5. Own the Revenue Architecture — pricing strategy, contract negotiation, CRM implementation, pipeline management, and revenue forecasting.
6. Champion the Mission — every partnership, every pitch, and every public-facing communication reflects our values: empathy, hope, and genuine support for people navigating difficult career transitions.
Compensation & Equity
This is an equity-based role with no initial salary. Compensation consists of a substantial equity stake (8–15% of fully diluted shares), vesting across clearly defined performance milestones. As revenue milestones are achieved, market-rate cash compensation will be introduced—beginning with a monthly stipend and progressing to a full executive salary.
A Co-Founder designation is available upon achievement of specific traction milestones, conferring Board-level governance, public recognition, and participation in strategic decision-making.
We value transparency: this is a startup. If you need a paycheck from Day 1, this is not the right fit. If you’re looking for the opportunity to build something meaningful and own a significant piece of it, keep reading.
What We Are Looking ForRequired
• 10+ years of experience in B2B/B2G sales, go-to-market strategy, business development, or revenue leadership.
• Demonstrated entrepreneurial experience: you have built a sales function from scratch, been an early-stage startup leader, or successfully launched a new product/market.
• Experience selling to enterprise buyers (CHROs, VPs of Talent, Workforce Board Directors, or equivalent decision-makers).
• Financial self-sufficiency to work without salary for 6–12 months (or longer) during the company’s pre-revenue phase.
• Strong alignment with JOBJIM’s mission: you believe in the dignity of work and the power of technology to serve people during vulnerable moments.
Strongly Preferred
1. HR industry experience (HRTech, outplacement, staffing, recruiting, workforce development, or career services).
2. Based in or near the Dallas-Fort Worth Metroplex (our pilot market and the location of our Tier 1 target companies).
3. Experience with AI-powered platforms or SaaS products.
4. Existing network within corporate HR, workforce boards, EdTech, or philanthropic foundations.
- Track record of selling to or partnering with government agencies or nonprofit institutions.
