Job Description
Responsibilities:
- Spearhead the setting up of the Center of Excellence, Operational Excellence team in Bangalore for Global Revenue Operations
- Effectively manage and develop the Operational Excellence team, fostering a culture of collaboration, continuous learning and improvement
- Collaborate with regional teams to identify globally-performed operational and reporting activities that are ideal for central execution by the Operational Excellence team. Examples include the triage of incoming mails including client queries, pricing plan setups, manual billing event reviews
- Ensure that these globally-performed activities are carefully documented with sufficient detail to ensure seamless and first time quality in execution
- Work with the Controllership CoE and Global Revenue Operations Senior Directors to develop metrics and KPIs to measure performance, accuracy, and productivity
- Inventory and support the creation and supervise the maintenance of global procedural documents covering both key global billing and operating certificate activities
- Oversee the allocation and execution of global operational and reporting activities handled by the Operational Excellence team, ensuring balanced workload across team members
- Monitor and balance the time devoted to each region to ensure effective global support
- Establish service level agreements (SLAs) with regional teams and regularly review the quality of work performed by the Operational Excellence team, ensuring the adherence to established SLAs
- Drive standardization, areas for process improvements and documentation of global Revenue Operations processes
- Perform other duties as required in line with the company’s needs and objectives
This is a hybrid position. Hybrid employees can alternate time between both remote and office. Employees in hybrid roles are expected to work from the office 2-3 set days a week (determined by leadership/site), with a general guidepost of being in the office 50% or more of the time based on business needs.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accountancy or a related field. Higher certification such as CPA is a plus
- At least 10 years of working experience with 3 years or more of managing a team
- Proven experience in team setup, team management and project management and leadership
- Experience in establishing or overseeing operational activities within a financial context
- Strong experience in aligning regional processes for global consistency
- Excellent operational and time management working as part of a global team across multiple time zones
- Comfortable with cross-regional interaction and open to flexible hours to attend meetings outside standard working hours to accommodate multiple time zones
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to interact across all levels of the organization
- Receptive to change and adaptable in a dynamic, multicultural and fast-paced work environment
