Job Title: Salesforce Contract & Revenue Operations Analyst
Position Summary
We are seeking a detail-oriented Salesforce Contract & Revenue Operations Analyst to support contract review and system accuracy within the Salesforce environment. This role will focus on reviewing, analyzing, and validating customer contracts to ensure proper coding, pricing accuracy, revenue alignment, and system compliance before contracts are finalized and sent to clients.
The ideal candidate has strong analytical skills, experience working in Salesforce, and a solid understanding of contract structures, pricing models, and revenue processes. Attention to detail and process discipline are critical for success in this role.
Key Responsibilities
Salesforce Contract Review & System Validation
- Review customer contracts to ensure accurate coding in Salesforce (products, pricing, terms, billing schedules, revenue categories, etc.)
- Validate opportunity, quote, and order data prior to client issuance
- Ensure correct mapping of products, SKUs, discount structures, and revenue classifications
- Confirm compliance with internal approval workflows and delegation of authority policies
- Identify discrepancies between signed agreements and Salesforce entries
- Collaborate with Sales to correct errors before contracts are sent to clients
- Maintain documentation of contract validation and audit processes
- Support enhancements to Salesforce workflows and validation rules
Revenue & Compliance Support
- Ensure contracts align with pricing policies and revenue recognition guidelines
- Review discount approvals and verify proper authorization
- Validate billing terms, payment terms, and contract durations
- Support audit requests by providing contract documentation and system reports
- Assist in maintaining data integrity across Salesforce records
Collaboration
- Partner with Sales, Legal, Finance, and Revenue Operations teams
- Coordinate with global stakeholders across time zones
- Provide status updates on contract review queues and escalations
- Support training of sales users on proper contract coding practices
Required Qualifications
- 3–6 years of experience in Sales Operations, Revenue Operations, Contract Administration, or Finance
- Hands-on experience working within Salesforce
Strong understanding of:
- Contract structures
- Pricing and discounting models
- Revenue coding and billing terms
- Approval workflows
- Experience reviewing commercial agreements for accuracy and compliance
- Advanced Excel skills (pivot tables, lookups, reconciliation techniques)
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- High attention to detail and data accuracy
- Strong written and verbal English communication skills
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with Salesforce CPQ (Configure, Price, Quote)
- Familiarity with revenue recognition principles (ASC 606 preferred)
- Experience working in a high-volume contract environment
- Prior experience supporting US-based companies or global teams
- Background in audit, compliance, or internal controls
