Scooter Your Way is an early stage mobility startup building a safer, smarter micromobility platform for urban riders. We’re founder led and currently raising capital. This role is a hands on CSO opportunity to shape go to market, build the sales engine, and earn meaningful equity while keeping your current job until we hit funding and traction.
What this role is
• Title: Chief Sales Officer (CSO) — Part time, sweat equity to start.
• Commitment: 3–5 hours per day (flexible); 15–25 hours per week expected.
• Location: Remote / flexible. Attend key meetings as needed.
• Compensation (initial): Equity + pre‑approved expense reimbursement. No base salary until the company closes a $2,000,000 capital raise.
• Cash after funding: Monthly payout set within the budget approved by the Founder and CFO once the $2M raise closes.
• Equity & vesting: [Example range: 1.5%–5%] of fully diluted shares, 3‑year vesting with a 6‑month cliff and monthly vesting thereafter.
• Full‑time transition: Founder retains final decision on full‑time hires; decision will be made no later than 3 years from start date. Candidates may keep current employment until company and Founder/CFO approve full‑time transition.

Key responsibilities
• Build and execute the go‑to‑market and sales strategy.
• Define ICP, pricing, sales playbook, and compensation plans.
• Own pipeline generation, forecasting, and closing early customers.
• Implement CRM, sales metrics, and reporting cadence.
• Recruit and mentor initial sales hires and contractors.
• Provide weekly dashboards and monthly pipeline reports to Founder and CFO.
• Represent the company to customers and partners; feed customer insights into product priorities.
Success metrics and milestones
• Deliver a qualified pipeline and first paying customers within agreed t
imelines.• Achieve agreed ARR or revenue milestones tied to quarterly OKRs.
• Improve conversion rates, shorten sales cycle, and increase average contract value.
• Meet monthly reporting and activity expectations.
Who we’re looking for
• Proven sales leader with early‑stage startup experience.
• Track record closing enterprise or SMB deals relevant to our market.
• Comfortable working part time while delivering high impact.
• Strong CRM and forecasting discipline.
• Mission‑driven, transparent, and collaborative.
• No conflict of interest with current employer; full disclosure required.
Legal and practical notes
• Offer contingent on standard equity grant paperwork, IP assignment, and NDA.
• Expense reimbursement requires prior approval from Founder/CFO.
• Either party may end the arrangement with notice; unvested equity is subject to grant terms.
