Overview
We have been retained by a fast-growing commercial construction company to identify a Chief Financial Officer who will play a critical role in scaling the business toward and beyond $100M in revenue.
This is a highly strategic and hands-on role for a finance leader who understands construction, thrives in a growth environment, and can bring financial clarity, discipline, and forward-looking insight to the organization.
This position is based in Fort Lauderdale. Relocation is required and supported.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead all financial operations including accounting, reporting, forecasting, and cash flow management
- Oversee job costing, WIP reporting, and project-level financial performance
- Provide strategic financial insight to support growth and decision-making
- Build and maintain financial models and forecasts
- Drive improvements in financial systems, reporting accuracy, and visibility
- Manage banking relationships, capital strategy, and financing
- Partner with operations to improve margins and cost control
- Lead budgeting and forecasting processes
- Ensure compliance and financial integrity across the organization
Qualifications
- 10–20+ years of finance experience, with strong exposure to construction or project-based industries
- Deep expertise in job costing, WIP schedules, and construction financials
- Experience in a scaling or growth-stage company
- CPA or equivalent experience strongly preferred
- Strong ability to translate financial data into actionable insights
- Proven leadership experience building or leading finance teams
