We’re looking for a driven, organized person to lead hardscape sales in the summer and coordinate snow operations in the winter.
This is not a basic front desk job.
This is a key role in a growing company with real responsibility and upside.
What You’ll Do
Summer (Sales & Customer Experience)
- Lead hardscape and landscaping material sales
- Help customers and contractors plan and purchase materials
- Prepare quotes and close sales
- Manage front counter, phones, and email inquiries
- Coordinate deliveries with drivers (radio communication)
- Track inventory, update pricing, and keep stock organized
- Support marketing efforts and promotions
Winter (Snow Operations Coordinator)
- Schedule crews and assign equipment
- Coordinate snow removal operations (loaders, plows, skid steers, etc.)
- Manage timesheets and daily reporting
- Communicate with crews, customers, and management
- Handle customer requests and service updates
- Step in and help operations when required
Compensation
- $60,000 base salary
- 2% commission on hardscape sales
How it works:
- Year 1: Commission is banked and paid out after completion of the first year (retention-based)
- Year 2+: Commission paid monthly as sales happen
Example:
$1,000,000 in sales = $20,000 commission
Work Schedule
- Busy season: ~45–50+ hours/week (spring, summer, snow events)
- Slow periods: Reduced hours and more flexibility
- Winter requires availability during snow events (early mornings / late nights when needed)
What We’re Looking For
- Strong sales and customer service skills
- Organized and able to manage multiple priorities
- Comfortable in a fast-paced, hands-on environment
- Marketing mindset is an asset
- Experience in landscaping, construction, or materials sales (preferred)
- Leadership ability for winter operations
