Summary
We are seeking a detail-oriented Sales Operations Analyst to support the Sales department. Reporting to the VP of Sales & Marketing, this role is responsible for sales reporting, dealer communications, dealer tools, and operational support for the sales team.
This position plays a key role in supporting Sales Managers and leadership through accurate reporting, market analysis, and coordination of dealer-facing tools and communications. The successful candidate will work closely with Sales Managers, the Inside Sales/Dealer Support function, and cross-functional teams to ensure consistent processes, reliable data, and effective communication.
This role requires strong analytical skills, advanced Excel capabilities, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Own and manage dealer communications related to sales updates, programs, and reporting, ensuring consistency and alignment with sales objectives
- Track dealership sales performance against territory and corporate budgets
- Coordinate the development and consolidation of annual sales budgets (corporate and field)
- Develop, maintain, and analyze sales reports, including market share, trends, and performance summaries for leadership
- Analyze internal and external data sources to generate market share reporting and provide insights to support strategic decision-making
- Prepare regular reports and presentations for Sales Managers and the executive team
- Maintain and update dealer-facing tools, including the Dealer Portal and related resources
- Coordinate sales webinars, including scheduling, logistics, and post-event reporting
- Provide reporting, analysis, and administrative support to Sales Managers to assist in planning, forecasting, and performance tracking
- Work in close coordination with the Inside Sales/Dealer Support function to align reporting, processes, and dealer communication
- Assist with order entry, invoicing, and order changes, ensuring accuracy and adherence to procedures
- Draft and maintain sales policies, procedures, and documentation
- Identify opportunities to improve reporting processes, tools, and data accuracy
- Support ad hoc analysis, reporting, and special projects as directed by the VP of Sales & Marketing
- Adapt to evolving priorities and business needs within the Sales function
Skills, Experience & Requirements
- Post-secondary education in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field
- 3–5 years of experience in sales operations, sales support, or analytical roles
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, formulas, data analysis, and reporting)
- Experience with reporting and visualization tools such as Power BI, Smartsheet, or similar platforms is an asset
- Experience working with ERP systems (e.g., AS400) is an asset
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and provide actionable insights
- Excellent organizational and time management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data and reporting
- Effective written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively with cross-functional teams
- Experience in a manufacturing or agricultural environment is an asset
Working Conditions
- Full-time (40 hours/week), Monday to Friday
- Occasional travel required; valid passport and driver’s license required
