Summary
We are seeking a strategic and highly analyticalCFO/CPA is a must with a minimum of 5 year’s experience as a CPA to lead our accounting operations. This is a critical position responsible for the integrity of financial records, the precision of reporting, and the overall efficiency of day-to-day accounting functions. The successful candidate will provide be able to get in the trenches, decipher data and deliver oversight to ensure the financial department supports continued growth and operational excellence.
Responsibilities
- Financial Leadership: Lead and manage all aspects of financial reporting, including the preparation and analysis of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements for executive review. This includes but is not limited to all day-to-day functions with the aid of an admin.
- Operational Oversight: Direct accounts payable and receivable functions to ensure accurate, timely processing and optimal cash flow management and reporting. As well as working with operations on collecting data as needed to complete all finance obligations daily/weekly/monthly etc.
- Process Excellence: Design and implement internal controls and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) to safeguard assets and streamline accounting workflows and processes. Mostly just on the finance end of things. Possibly others when needed.
- Strategic Planning: Drive budgeting and forecasting processes while providing deep-dive financial analysis to support long term business decisions.
- Compliance & Audit: Serve as the lead for audit preparations and ensure strict adherence to all regulatory and tax requirements.
- Reporting Quality: Collaborate with departments to audit reporting quality, ensuring all documentation is accurate, professional, and stakeholder ready.
Requirements
- Education: Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; a professional accounting designation CPA. Must have at least 5 year’s experience in this role.
- Experience: Minimum of 5–7 years of progressive accounting experience, with at least 5 years in a supervisory or senior-level role.
- Technical Mastery: Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and professional accounting software, with the ability to pivot as new technology arises. Also have experience with an ERP system and comfort with using one.
- Leadership Skills: Proven ability to manage complex financial projects and mentor staff to ensure accuracy and efficiency.
- Analytical Precision: Exceptional problem-solving skills with a focus on detailed reporting and financial integrity.
- Communication: Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to translate complex financial data into clear, professional narratives for stakeholders. Easily approachable to management and executive level. Team player and POSITIVE attitude.

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $100,000.00-$180,000.00 per year
