At Ando, we’re rebuilding messaging software for a human-agent collaborative era. It’s not enough for it to just “work” or be at parity with Slack. Ando needs to “feel” like it’s working alongside you - it needs to be fast, beautiful, helpful, and predictive. Ando needs to be good enough for our users to want to spend hours of their days in for their working lives, and convince their friends to do the same.
We’re looking for a founding ops hire at Ando - you'll be responsible & deeply involved in 3 key areas in your first 90 days (recruiting, events, & compliance/operations). Note that this role requires a great deal of detail-orientation, along with taste, especially in people.
What we're doing at Ando
- Teams are already building agents and using them across Slack, email, and other tools. But these platforms weren't designed for human-AI collaboration. The answer isn't a better Slack though; we're rethinking communications from the ground up to support better collaboration between humans and agents.

What you’ll be doing at Ando
- Organize recurring events - for recruiting, customer gatherings, and partner education. Events should feel thoughtful, high-quality, and unique (e.g. if we host a dinner it should be one of the best / most interesting dinners someone has attended in recent memory)
- Help run our work trials and making the Ando experience excellent for people both inside and outside of the organization
- Keep us compliant: from paperwork to processes, make sure the foundation is solid
- Manage details that shape perception (swag, office setup, documentation), because they matter
- Design systems that help the team spend more time building and less time on overhead
- Use Ando every day
Qualifications
- Articulate, thoughtful communication
- Experience running high-quality events
- Keen eye for detail, you will be trusted with various compliance tasks
- Bias toward action and ability to keep many threads moving without letting quality slip
