Your goal is to harmonize the high-volume, inventory-heavy nature of Pharma Retail with the high-margin, service-oriented complexity of Clinical Operations.
Key Responsibilities
1. Strategic Growth & Capital Management
● Expansion Modelling: Build robust financial models for new site acquisitions and greenfield clinic rollouts.
● Fundraising & IR: Lead debt/equity financing rounds and manage relationships with investors and financial institutions.
● M&A Support: Conduct due diligence and integration for potential acquisitions of smaller independent chains.
2. Operational Excellence
● Inventory Optimization: Partner with Supply Chain to manage in pharmaceutical inventory, focusing on turnover ratios and reducing shrinkage.
● Payor & Revenue Cycle Management (RCM): Oversee clinic billing cycles, insurance reimbursements, and credit collections to ensure healthy cash flow.
● Unit Economics: Analyse "Store + Clinic" profitability to optimize the service mix.
3. Financial Control & Technology
● ERP Integration: Oversee the migration or optimization of integrated Retail/Clinic management systems. ● Tax & Compliance: Ensure strict adherence to healthcare regulations, VAT/GST on medicines, and pharmaceutical pricing controls.
● Budgeting: Lead the annual planning process across all departments, ensuring tight Opex control.
The Profile: Who You Are
● The Industry Expert: You have 8+ years of progressive finance experience, with at least 4 years in a senior leadership role within Healthcare, Retail, or Pharmacy.
● The Hybrid Thinker: You understand that a pharmacy is a retail business (margins, footfall) while a clinic is a service business (patient outcomes, bi ling complexity).
● The Data Storyteller: You can translate complex P&L statements into actionable insights for non-financial stakeholders.
● Credentials: Fully qualified CPA, CA, or MBA (Finance).
