Resource Management Specialist

Job Summary: We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Resource Management Specialist to oversee resource allocation, contract management, and financial tracking for contingent workers and vendors. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in finance operations, excellent analytical skills, and a proven ability to manage complex data sets. This role is critical in ensuring accurate workforce planning, compliance with contractual obligations, and effective budget management.
Responsibilities
- Resource Allocation & Movement Management: Manage and track resource allocation movements, including onboarding, offboarding, extensions, role changes, and allocation adjustments to ensure accurate workforce planning and reporting.
- Contract Management: Support the resource contract lifecycle management, including contract creation, renewal, amendments, and termination for contingent workers and vendors, ensuring compliance with internal policies and contractual terms.
- Cost Calculation & Cost Control: Perform resource cost calculation and tracking, including rate validation, cost impact analysis for allocation changes, and ongoing cost management to support budget control and financial forecasting.
- Timesheet & Monthly Resource Administration: Support timesheet creation, validation, finalization, and monthly management for contingent resources, ensuring accuracy and timely submission.
- Purchase Order (PO) & Invoice Management: Assist Finance with PO procedures including PO creation, PO tracking, PO receipt, and invoice receipt and reconciliation related to resource and vendor costs.
Mandatory Skills
- Bachelor?s degree in Accounting or Finance, or equivalent experience in an accounting firm or finance department.
- Proficient in Excel, with advanced skills in data analysis and automation (experience with VBA and SQL is a plus).
- Minimum 3 years of experience in finance operations, with a focus on resource management and contract administration.
- Strong understanding of contract management processes and compliance requirements.

- Experience in managing large and complex data sets.
- Familiarity with financial forecasting and budget control processes.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
