The IT Programmer Analyst is a key strategic partner responsible for bridging the gap between business requirements and technical execution within our Lead-to-Cash ecosystem. This role focuses on understanding complex business needs and identifying the most effective solutions within the Salesforce and Oracle CPQ (formerly BigMachines/BMI) platform. You will collaborate closely with stakeholders across Sales, Finance, and Engineering to gather, analyze, and document requirements that drive the development and optimization of our global CPQ environment.
Core Responsibilities
- Requirement Lifecycle: Lead the end-to-end process of gathering, validating, and documenting business and system requirements for Oracle CPQ enhancements and implementations.
- Process Optimization: Analyze existing sales workflows to identify bottlenecks and design streamlined configurations for product hierarchies, pricing rules, and discounting logic.
- Technical Translation: Convert high-level business goals into detailed functional specifications, including BML logic requirements and UI/UX design within the Oracle CPQ platform.
- Quality Assurance: Define UAT (User Acceptance Testing) criteria and partner with QA teams to ensure that delivered solutions align with the original business intent and maintain data integrity.
- Stakeholder Management: Facilitate workshops with global sales leaders and product managers to manage expectations, prioritize the product backlog, and provide status updates on critical SaaS initiatives.
Technical Skills & Qualifications
- Oracle CPQ Expertise: Hands-on experience with Oracle CPQ(BMI/BigMachines), including configuration of parts, pricing, layouts, and document designer.
- Salesforce Expertise: Salesforce experience is must have,
- Oracle Subscription Management Expertise: Good to have.
- Domain Knowledge: Deep understanding of the Quote-to-Cash lifecycle, subscription billing models, and contract management.
- Analytical Rigor: Proven ability to translate complex pricing spreadsheets and discounting matrices into scalable system logic.
- Integration Awareness: Familiarity with how Oracle CPQ integrates with upstream Salesforce system and downstream ERP/Billing engines.
Experience - 5+ Years of experience in Oracle CPQ
