Job Overview:
The Salesforce Administrator & AI Developer - CPQ Systems plays a critical role in supporting Ross’ go-to-market strategies by enabling seamless, intelligent operations across CRM (Salesforce.com), CPQ (Apttus/Conga, with transition to Revenue Cloud), and other commercial platforms. This role serves as a key technical partner to Sales, Product Management, and broader commercial teams, ensuring system functionality aligns with business objectives while developing and integrating AI capabilities to enhance operational efficiency, quoting accuracy, and sales enablement.
In collaboration with the Product team, the Salesforce Administrator & AI Developer - CPQ Systems manages day-to-day system and product setup activities, including the creation and configuration of various product types (e.g., standalone, bundles). They proactively troubleshoot quoting and ordering issues, assist with pricing configurations, and recommend (and implement) enhancements to CRM and CPQ processes—particularly those leveraging AI—to improve product marketing, sales enablement, and revenue outcomes.
On the Sales side, the Salesforce Administrator & AI Developer - CPQ Systems provides hands-on support to resolve quoting, pricing, and ordering challenges, while contributing to the development and refinement of client-facing proposal documents. With a strong focus on process optimization and AI innovation, this role continuously improves workflows, documentation, and will lead strategic projects related to Salesforce, CPQ/Revenue Cloud enhancements, and AI feature development (e.g., predictive analytics, intelligent recommendations, and autonomous agents).

What The Job Is All About:
- Provide day-to-day technical support and development to Sales and Product Management teams across commercial systems, including Apttus/Conga CPQ and Salesforce (SFDC), with preparation for Revenue Cloud migration
- Act as a super user, developer, and primary point of contact for product marketing and sales teams, addressing system-related questions, troubleshooting issues, and building custom solutions
- Research, evaluate, design, develop, and implement AI-enhanced commercial system functionalities (e.g., Einstein-powered guided selling, predictive pricing, product recommendations, Agentforce agents, intelligent quoting automation, and machine learning-driven insights) to improve quoting, selling, and revenue processes
- Diagnose and resolve quoting, pricing, and ordering issues, ensuring smooth operations and timely support for Sales activities, while incorporating AI tools for faster resolution and prevention
- Collaborate with stakeholders to enhance client-facing proposal documents, ensuring they reflect accurate product and pricing information, and integrate AI-generated content or recommendations where applicable
- Recommend and implement process improvements for CRM and CPQ/Revenue Cloud systems, with a focus on AI integration to optimize efficiency, support strategic initiatives, and drive automation
- Develop, configure, and maintain AI-driven features, such as predictive models, recommendation engines, dynamic pricing rules, and autonomous agents using Salesforce tools (e.g., Einstein, Agentforce, Prompt Builder)
- Document and maintain system processes, procedures, custom code, and AI configurations to support training, scalability, operational consistency, and future enhancements
- Lead and contribute to strategic projects focused on Salesforce, CPQ/Revenue Cloud system enhancements, and AI capability development, driving innovation, continuous improvement, and migration efforts
- Assist in maintaining and updating product and pricing data within Salesforce, ensuring accuracy and alignment with business needs, while leveraging AI for data validation and enrichment
Who You Are:
Education & Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business, or a related field
- Minimum 2–4 years of experience with Salesforce.com administration, configuration, and/or development; Salesforce certification (e.g., Administrator, Platform Developer, or AI-related) is highly desired
- Experience supporting Sales and Product Management functions in a commercial systems environment, with hands-on work in quote-to-order processes
- Familiarity with CPQ platforms (preferably Salesforce Revenue Cloud or legacy tools like Apttus/Conga) and quote-to-cash workflows; experience with or interest in migrating to Revenue Cloud is valuable
- Knowledge of sales processes and/or direct experience in a sales role
- Understanding of product management and marketing processes
- Exposure to AI/ML concepts, Salesforce Einstein, Agentforce, or generative AI tools is a strong plus
Technical Proficiency
- Intermediate to advanced proficiency in Salesforce.com, including product and pricing configuration, rule creation, data management, Apex, Lightning Web Components, Flows, and integrations
- Experience developing or implementing AI capabilities within Salesforce (e.g., Einstein features for predictions/recommendations, Agentforce agents, Prompt Builder, or custom AI automations)
- Ability to research, prototype, and implement new system functionalities, with emphasis on AI-driven tools (e.g., guided selling, machine learning models, price optimization, Agentforce)
- Basic proficiency with standard office tools such as MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Visio
- Familiarity with Salesforce development best practices, testing, deployment, and low-code/no-code tools

- Strong analytical mindset with the ability to understand and solve complex system and AI requirements
- Detail-oriented and passionate about accuracy in data, configurations, and AI model outputs
- Proactive in identifying and implementing process improvements, including AI-enhanced solutions

- Excellent communication skills, including the ability to present confidently to groups of 10–20 people
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate effectively across teams
- Comfortable translating technical concepts into user-friendly language for non-technical stakeholders

- Highly organized and capable of managing multiple projects simultaneously
- Skilled in planning, scheduling, and documenting system processes and procedures
- Adaptable in a fast-paced, multi-project environment and able to work independently or as part of a team

Salary Information:
The pay range for this role in Canada is: 83,000 - 103,500 CAD

Final compensation will be determined by location, skills, experience, knowledge, and role-specific qualifications, and may be adjusted to recognize candidates accordingly.
