The Role
As Majestic Wine Area Sales Support you will be responsible for supporting the Area Sales Managers with the administrative processes when bringing on board new customers as well as maintenance of existing customers including changing the wine lists, updating prices and product forecasts. You will assist with customer queries, including using the online order portal, produce KPI reporting and manage incoming store leads.

Key Responsibilities
Customer Onboarding & Integration
- System Setup: Proficiency in creating customer accounts, information sheets, and portal profiles.
- Digital Integration: Expertise in onboarding clients onto order portals and integrating third-party ordering platforms.
- Lead Management: Skill in vetting new business leads and coordinating with Regional Sales teams.
Commercial Operations & Finance
- Pricing Management: Accurate loading of TRS/Store ranging prices and administration of commercial price changes.
- Financial Control: Managing invoice reconciliation on 3rd party platforms and resolving discrepancies.
- Account Admin: Full-cycle administration utilising Salesforce CRM to maintain account health.
Supply Chain & Inventory Optimization
- Demand Planning: Loading product forecasts and requesting initial stock allocations for new sites.
- Stock Management: Monitoring fulfillment levels and performing necessary stock adjustments.
- Cross-Functional Liaison: Collaborating with Buying, Merchandising, and Supply Chain to resolve stock-outs or order issues.
Data Intelligence & Strategy
- Business Intelligence: Utilising Power BI to generate performance reports for Area Sales Managers (ASMs).
- Market Growth: Supporting the identification of new customer targets and business opportunities.
- Process Innovation: Actively collaborating with the wider team to implement process improvements and efficiency gains.
Knowledge & Skills Required
- Proficiency in Google Suite (Sheets is a must), Salesforce (CRM), and Power BI for reporting.
- A strong interest in the drinks/hospitality sector (WSET qualification is a major plus)
- Experience with stock allocations, product forecasting, and inventory adjustments.
- A track record of integrating new customers and managing complex digital ordering portals.
- Extreme accuracy in handling price loading and invoice reconciliation
- The ability to act as the bridge between Sales Managers, Operations, and the Customer
- A self-starter who doesn't just spot a stock or pricing issue but fixes it independently.
- Capable of juggling multiple deadlines and administrative tasks in a fast-paced environment.
