Join us in building the leading AI-Powered Mission Control for Corporate Travel. Some of the world's most recognizable companies, representing over $4T in market value, rely on Clarasight's software to reduce risks, save costs, protect revenues, and manage emissions aligned with business objectives and sustainability goals.
You are a sharp generalist — organized, analytical, and energized by the idea of making a company run better. You notice when things are slow, messy, or manual, and you instinctively look for ways to fix them.
You are AI-forward by default. You already use AI tools to research, draft, analyze, and move faster in your own work — and you're excited to bring that same leverage into a real business.
You want to be part of a small team where you can see how the whole company works, get exposure to founders, and have your contributions matter from day one.
We are hiring a Business Operations Intern to support the foundations of how Clarasight runs — across finance, hiring, internal systems, reporting, and cross-functional coordination.
This is a broad, high-visibility role. You'll work directly with founders and team leads on the real problems of scaling an early-stage company, and you'll use AI as a core part of how you get that work done.
Every workflow you touch, you should also be asking: "Can AI make this faster, better, or cheaper next time?"
Run Core Business Ops
Support day-to-day operations across finance, hiring, vendor management, and internal coordination.
Help prepare reports, dashboards, and updates for founders and the broader team.
Build and maintain lightweight systems (trackers, SOPs, internal docs) that help the company run.
Apply AI as Leverage
Use AI tools (Claude, ChatGPT, Notion AI, Clay, etc.) to accelerate research, analysis, drafting, and reporting.
Identify manual or repetitive ops workflows and propose AI-powered ways to handle them.
Partner with the AI Automation intern and broader team to turn good ideas into shipped workflows.
Support Cross-Functional Projects
Help founders and team leads with ad-hoc projects spanning GTM, hiring, finance, and operations.
Pull data, synthesize findings, and turn them into clear recommendations.
Document what you learn so the next person (intern or FTE) can build on it.
Are a current student or recent grad (summer internship or part-time during the school year both work).
Are already using AI tools meaningfully in your schoolwork, projects, or previous roles.
Have strong written and verbal communication skills — you can summarize, simplify, and synthesize.
Are organized and detail-oriented, but comfortable moving quickly with imperfect information.
Can work independently with minimal direction and know when to ask for help.
Are excited by early-stage startup environments where priorities shift and ownership is real.
Experience with spreadsheets, basic SQL, or data analysis tools.
Prior internship or project experience in operations, finance, consulting, or a generalist startup role.
Familiarity with tools like Notion, Loveable, HubSpot, or similar.
Background or interest in corporate travel, sustainability, or enterprise SaaS.
