The role
We are seeking a highly organized and commercially focused
Sales Operations Manager to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of our sales organization. This role plays a critical part in optimizing sales processes, strengthening data integrity, and enabling sales teams to meet strategic growth objectives in a manufacturing‑driven environment.
The ideal candidate brings strong analytical skills, hands‑on CRM expertise, and experience partnering cross‑functionally within packaging or industrial sectors.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and continuously improve sales processes, tools, and workflows.
- Drive CRM adoption, data accuracy, reporting standards, and process discipline.
- Develop and analyze sales reports, forecasts, KPIs, and dashboards to support decision‑making.
- Provide actionable insights to sales leadership based on performance and trend analysis.
- Coordinate pricing, quotations, and contract processes with Sales, Finance, and Commercial teams.
- Support onboarding and enablement of new sales team members.
- Serve as a key liaison between Sales, Production, Supply Chain, Logistics, and Customer Service.
- Support lead time management, capacity alignment, and customer expectations.
- Lead or support initiatives such as new product launches, territory planning, and customer segmentation.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives across the sales function.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Sales, Supply Chain, or related field.
- 5+ years of experience in sales operations, commercial support, or business analysis.
- Experience in plastics, packaging, or manufacturing environments preferred.
- Advanced proficiency in CRM platforms (e.g., Salesforce, SAP) and Microsoft Excel.
- Strong analytical, problem‑solving, and organizational skills.
- Proven ability to support high‑performing sales teams in fast‑paced, product‑driven organizations.
- Excellent cross‑functional communication and stakeholder management skills.
